Write and deploy a canary
Once you've created your first couple of canaries, you'll be able to write new ones in under an hour and deploy them in minutes. As a developer, you create template canaries, which live in canary template libraries. Once you've uploaded your canaries, go to your 'My Canary Templates' page, go to the Canary Dashboard and select “+Create”. Then “edit” the canary to add environment variables and acceptable thresholds. The SDK contains examples and documentation. You can build on the sample canaries or create canaries from scratch using OpenAPI schemas. -
Collect workload data
At the end of the cloud, canaries collect data related to workloads. It can be from APIs, HTTP responses, or whatever. Users can set thresholds, alarms and notifications. The time series data will be used to generate a 5-day rolling forecast, using an AI model du jour, one of ours Snowflake's Cortex or others. -
